5 Things You Might Not Know Yet About Yugyeom
Known as GOT7’s dancing machine and maknae, Yugyeom has truly spread his wings after becoming a solo artist! He has shown many charms and his other side that fans are stunned to witness! Here are some interesting facts you might not know yet; even as an ahgase for years!
He was discovered in 2010 by JYP Entertainment
Since birth, He’s been a music fan. Instead of studying during his second year of middle school, he spent hours in front of his computer watching videos and imitating choreography. Yugyeom began attending his cousin’s academy, where one of the instructors was managing JYP trainees, after his cousin, who was a dance academy instructor, saw him dancing. Yugyeom was able to audition, and the rest is history.
His Favorites Items from ’97 line friends and GOT7 members:
Yugyeom shared his favorite belongings in an Elle Korea YouTube video. Friends from the ’97 line, including BTS’ Jungkook, SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu, NCT’s Jaehyun, and ASTRO’s Eunwoo, gave him a Cartier Love bracelet. Meanwhile, two GOT7 members, BamBam and Jackson, each gave him a Rolex and a Fendi Watch. His bag is actually from an ahgase, and he’s been using it for 5-6 years.
Yugyeom’s Not Just a Dancing Machine
He enjoys playing the piano as well! The GOT7 member has written and composed a number of songs for the band. His work can be found in several albums, including Flight Log: Departure, Flight Log: Turbulence, and 7 for 7.
His favorite food:
Yugyeom enjoys Korean pork barbecue, kimbap, and bulgogi, as well as iced Americano and iced chocolate drinks. He admitted to drinking 2-3 cups of iced Americano on occasion, but iced chocolate if he craved something sweet.
Grew up Abroad
His father worked in Saudi Arabia, and his mother is pregnant with him despite the fact that he was born in Seoul, South Korea. They returned to Saudi Arabia and spent some time growing up there.
