Proceeds From EXO ft. Yoo Jae Suk’s“Dancing King” Are Donated
SM Entertainment has donated the proceeds of the 2016 release of EXO’s “Dancing King ft. Yoo Jae Suk”
SM Entertainment donated 32 million won from EXO’s collaboration song “Dancing King”, to The Beautiful Foundation to help young adults who are leaving institutional care and will be self-supporting.
CEO Tak Young Joon of SM Entertainment stated “All young people, including those who are leaving institutional care are shining stars that will give light to the future of our society,” “We will try our best in improving awareness about these young adults and help them in standing on their own feet.”
The entertainment has been supporting the youth through their song’s net proceeds of 247 million won since 2017. Proceeds benefit the projects of music education for children and adolescents and aiding adolescents on the streets.
In 2021, The Beautiful Foundation is set to work with SN for an “18-Year-Old Adult” project, that will create stylish bags with messages to raise awareness about youth who are discharged from institutional care.
