Jang Dong Yoon, Seol In Ah, and Chu Young Woo To Star In A Period Drama
Jang Dong Yoon, Seol In Ah, and Chu Young Woo will be together for an upcoming drama!
On August 31, KBS‘ new drama ‘Oasis’ announced that actors Jang Dong Yoon, Seol In Ah, and Chu Young Woo have been cast as the lead roles of Lee Doo Hak, Oh Jeong Jin, and Choi Cheol Woong. The said drama will be written by Jung Hyung Soo and directed by Han hee. It is scheduled to air in the first half of 2023.
Lee Doo Hak, played by Jang Dong Yoon, is poor yet but has a sharper mind and pure soulthan anybody else. He is a person of pure love, falling in love at first sight with Oh Jung Shin, a transfer student from Seoul. Lee Doo Hak still depicts a youtful life despite the experiences he had.
Seol In Ah portrays Oh Jung Shin, a character who has the courage to stand up to injustice and pursue her dreams with a self-assured and sincere demeanor. She transfers schools from Seoul and establishes a lifelong connection with Lee Doo Hak and Choi Cheol Woong, who help her create amazing memories of her school days.
The character played by Chu Young Woo is Choi Cheol Woong, a boyhood friend of Lee Doo Hak and a rival of fate. He is a top student who always takes first place and despises losing. All of his goals were met, however he failed to win a girl’s heart
‘Oasis’ is a melodrama set in volatile Korea from the 1980s to the 1990s involving three young men who violently throw themselves away to protect their dreams, friendships, and their once-in-a-lifetime first love.
