K-Dramas That Featured BTS

It’s almost impossible not to mention BTS due to their immense popularity and influence. The boys have truly become part of the everyday lives of fans and music lovers. Here are some of the K-dramas that are mentioned and referred to BTS.

DRAMA: SCHOOL 2017

Actor Kim Jung Hyun, who is known as Hyun Tae Woon on KBS2’s “School 2017,” danced to BTS’s “Boy In Luv” after getting out of the shower. He danced after Kim Sejeong (who played the character Ra Eun Ho) agreed to go out with him.

DRAMA: Hotel Del Luna

In Episode 11, a deceased ARMY gets a chance to talk to his bias relaying her gratitude and feelings. After the call, she danced to BTS’s “Fake Love.”

DRAMA: Fight for My Way

Park Seo Joon who is known as Ko Dong Man, a martial arts fighter, enters the ring while BTS’s “Fire” is playing as his background music.

DRAMA: Sisyphus: The Myth

Park Shin Hye, who is known as Kang Seo Hae on JTBC’s “Sisyphus: The Myth,” strolls in the ruins of Myeongdong and found a poster of BTS’s concert film and she then takes her phone and turns on BTS’s “Spring Day”, she continues to walk and says, “Happy birthday, Kang Seo Hae.” More BTS references were shown in the said drama.

DRAMA: RACKET BOYS

Members of a boy badminton team at a middle school are huge fans of BTS. In episode 1, while on a road trip, the boys were singing their hearts out with BTS’s “Go Go”. More BTS references were shown in the said drama.

DRAMA: GOBLIN

In a conversation between two characters, BTS is part of the list of things that teenagers want and like. When asked what BTS does, one of the characters tries to imitate the “Boy in Luv” choreography.

DRAMA: DOOM AT YOUR SERVICE

Actress Park Bo Young who is known as Tak Dong Kyung on tvN’s “Doom at Your Service,” guessed the lyrics of BTS’s “Boy With Love” while watching an actual variety show “Amazing Saturday.”

DRAMA: MARRY MY HUSBAND

Actress Park Min Young and actor Na In Woo shared their favorite BTS songs such as “Spring Day” and “Dynamite” while they were in the year 2013 while these songs were released in later years. This became their eye-opener that they both experienced time-traveling to the past.
