K-Pop Legends And Their Inspiring Stories

The K-Pop idols we see today seem to have it all. Fame, money, and love from their fans all over the world; they got it all. But before reaching that status such hardships had to be endured. Here are some of the idols who have inspiring stories before becoming K-Pop legends.

Super Junior Eunhyuk

He once shared that they lived in a house where there was no toilet, but there was a public restroom station not far from their house, so they would frequently use that when they had to go. The Super Junior member told that It was difficult to live in that house, but their family did not complain and He did not like seeing my parents having to work so hard. After gaining fame and stardom he finally had the opportunity to buy them a proper house.

One of the most successful boy groups ever produced by SM Entertainment, the TVXQ member experienced sleeping at subway stations on some nights as he had nowhere to go when his family went bankrupt and he had to provide for them and his younger sister. BTS Suga

To pursue his dreams he started by working part-time at a recording studio but earned nothing. During his high school years,  he is forced to choose between eating or riding a bus home and when he buys a 1000 won or $2 bowl of noodles, he got no choice but to walk home for two hours. When he was a trainee, he still worked a part-time job as a deliveryman to make ends meet.

The Icon of K-Pop struggled when she was growing up when her parents fell heavily into debt. She had to start living with her grandmother and since then she began pursuing her dream to become a singer. Her relatives mocked her for pursuing her passion for singing and told her to study instead. She got accepted to LOEN Entertainment and three years after her debut IU was able to pay off all her parent’s debts.

BIGBANG Taeyang

At the age of 13, he decided to move out on his own to save his struggling family and live in Seoul. He was sent to an acting thanks to his aunt, and he auditioned for the younger role of a rapper. He was accepted and that’s when he encountered hip-hop for the first time. He approached the company’s CEO and begged to be trained as a singer. He thought that the CEO liked how determined he was at such a young age. In 2006 he debuted under the group, BIGBANG.
